Lent 2026 Weekly Devotional

This Lenten journey centers on the most foundational call of Christian life: to love and be loved. In a world obsessed with proving, earning, performing, and defending, the Gospel invites us to something simpler… and far more challenging. Simply love.
But simple does not mean easy. Love resists the forces that distort and divide. Love embraces what is broken. Love stretches us beyond boundaries. Love is patient. Love serves. Love shows up. Love rises.
This is a season for unlearning what love is not, and for re-learning the shape of God’s love as revealed in Jesus. Through stories from Luke’s Gospel, we’ll encounter a love that does not ask for credentials or perfection. It just asks for us.
